Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private limited (RGPPL) was incorporated under the Company’s Act, 1956 on 08th July, 2005. The shareholding pattern of the company set up to takeover the assets and revive the erstwhile Dabhol Power Company Project under the ambitious restructuring plan finalized by the Empowered Group of Ministers of Government of India to revive this important Integrated Power generation and Re-gasified LNG facility. The company has its plant located at Village Anjanwel, District Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra (India) nearly 330 KM from Mumbai, 45 KM off the Mumbai-Goa National Highway (NH-17). The picturesque project site is spread in almost 1700 Acres of hilly coastal terrain. The company has been given ambitious targets for revival of the facilities on fast track. State of Maharashtra shall be the prime beneficiary of the power generated from the project. |
